ctr How to Increase Facebook Ad CTR As with many paid advertising methods, your ad’s Click Through Rate (CTR) has a huge influence on how successful your campaign will be. Facebook advertising is no different.

In fact, I have found Facebook advertising to be extremely sensitive to the CTR. So much so, that I spend a lot of time making sure the ad text I use is tested somewhere else before I launch it in Facebook. You see, Facebook gives you a range of suggested bids, when you first launch your campaign. But that is only their system’s best-guess on what is going to happen.

Your ad will do better or worse, in terms of cost per click, than the prediction. And the best way to make it better is to ensure your ad has a high CTR from targeted prospects.

Towards this goal, I use often use ad text that has proven itself elsewhere. My sources are commonly; Google, Yahoo and MSN PPC sources that I have either used myself in the past, or observed to be working well for others, by watching their ads. There are a number of online tools to do this, and I will cover these in a future article.
